Dr. Bimal Raj Regmi

Bimal Raj Regmi is a climate resilience and natural resource management expert with more than 23 years of experience in climate change and natural resource management. He has completed PhD at Flinders University, South Australia, under the Australian Leadership Award (ALA). He has contributed to policy and institutional reforms, as well as cutting-edge research in LDCs (Least Developed Countries) and SIDS (Small Island Developing States), addressing disaster risk and climate change management challenges. His current work in climate change policy reforms, green taxonomy and investment mapping, and climate financing has significant traction and added value to the ongoing efforts of governments and stakeholders in Nepal, Bangladesh, Rwanda, Sudan, Pakistan, Madagascar, and Myanmar to translate policies into action. He is currently affiliated with Oxford Policy Management (OPM) as senior consultant and with International Institute of Environment and Development (IIED) as senior associate.
