Sharad Tegi Tuladhar

Introducing Sharad Tegi Tuladhar, a seasoned banker with over three decades of experience and a pioneer in advancing Environmental and Social (E&S) Management in Nepal’s banking sector.
Sharad currently leads Policy, Environmental & Social, and Climate Projects at NMB Bank Ltd, where he has spearheaded key sustainability milestones. These include implementing the bank’s Environmental & Social Management System (ESMS) in line with IFC Performance Standards, initiating carbon footprint disclosure using PCAF standards, and guiding NMB to become the first bank in Nepal to endorse the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative.

His extensive experience spans corporate banking leadership at Standard Chartered, Sanima, and NMB, and a six-year tenure as Chief Risk Officer, during which he led the bank to its first ISO 27001:2013 certification for Information Security.

Sharad continues to drive ESG integration, climate-aligned strategy, and impact-focused disclosure—positioning sustainable finance at the heart of banking.
