- Explore Uganda’s coffee supply chain as a case study of sustainability in practice — from farm to export to global retail.
- Understand how sustainability principles are embedded in different stages of the coffee value chain: production, processing, certification, and distribution.
- Identify key actors and partnerships (e.g., cooperatives, exporters, certifying bodies, government) that support sustainable and inclusive practices in Uganda.
- Analyse the challenges and enabling factors that affect the scalability of sustainable supply chain models in developing countries.
- Draw lessons for Nepal’s agri-based industries, especially coffee, on improving market access, value addition, and climate resilience through sustainable supply chain development.
